You Can Celebrate Halloween Underwater At Ripley’s Aquarium

If you thought a haunted house was scary, wait until you see how creepy it can get in the depths of the sea. Between sharks, octopuses, and eels, the ocean after dark is as scary as it can get. If this sounds like a good time to you, you won’t want to miss celebrating Halloween at Ripley’s Aquarium later this month.

That’s right, the Ripley’s Aquarium annual Dark Waters party is back and is taking place on October 25.

The whole aquarium will be done up to the nines with all sorts of Halloween decorations, and that’s not all — there will also be a live Halloween-themed dive show taking place.

In addition to the spook-tacular food and drink options available, party it up with DJs Lucie Tic and Cozmic Cat who will be spinning tunes.

Don’t forget your costume, either! Past years have seen folks rocking epic costumes ranging from Edward Scissorhands, Lady Gaga, and Darth Vader. If you ask us, the spookier the better because, well, it’s Halloween after all!

Narcity reports that while guests are encouraged to dress up and take part in all the Halloween fun, there is no official contest for best costume.

Tickets to the Dark Waters party cost $32, and members to the aquarium can snag them for 50% off with a four-ticket limit on this offer. So, if there was ever a time you were considering becoming a member to the aquarium, this is it.

It’s also important to note that food and drinks come at an additional cost: drink tickets cost $8, while tickets for food are $10.
