The Malvina Linen Dress from Reformation shares some key elements of dresses showcased in Bridgerton, such as its square neckline, puff sleeves, lace trim, and A-line silhouette. However, its linen fabric and short hem length modernize it—which would have been quite scandalous back in the day.

As much as wearing a formal gown while playing a game of pall-mall in the grass sounds fun and all… We think the Briderton’s would be pleased to know it’s now socially acceptable to wear casual day dresses when participating in outdoor activities.

Although statement necklaces are still relevant today, we think they would wear them slightly toned down, with a more humble approach.

In rare moments when you can actually see the shoes of ladies dressed in long ballgowns, ballet flats seem to be a popular shoe choice! Some appear to have a small heel, while others remain flat.
