Hilary MacMillan is a contemporary Canadian womenswear brand. This self-titled brand was founded in 2013 with a focus on creating wearable designs for the modern woman. She is adventurous and fashion aware. She likes a tailored fit, bold colours and inspired fabrics that make fashion effortlessly conscientious.
Hilary MacMillan made a commitment to be cruetly-free in 2016 and decided to no longer uses leather, fur, exotic skins, and feathers. In 2019 seasons we phased out silks, and wools to become completely cruelty-free. We are very excited about this change.

For Spring/Summer 2020 we are proud to finally offer extended sizes. “It was always our goal to expand our sizing range,” says Creative Director and Founder Hilary MacMillan, “As an independent fashion brand, the timing had to be right and the consumer demand had to be there for it to be successful. With the popularity of our feminist jackets globally – which go up to a size 4X – combined with the many requests we received over the past year to extend our sizes for our seasonal collections, we decided the time was now.We couldn’t be any more proud to extend our size range up to 22 and 4X for Spring/Summer 2020.”
Hilary pulls inspiration from many facets of her life, among them, her Scottish heritage, her love of realist art, the Canadian landscape, and different design movements throughout history.
