Family Day is a great holiday that allows you to take some time off and spend it with the ones closest to you. Whether you spend Family Day with your immediate family or a hodge-podge mix of friends there are plenty of events in the GTA to keep you entertained.

Head to the Ontario Science Centre
Family Day long weekend will be tonnes of fun with special programs, IMAX films and much more! What’s great is that they have a new installation that centres around Canada’s 150th anniversary. Visitors will get to experience Canada on a new level and gain a better understanding of Canada’s unique scientific achievements.

Tiff will be presenting Tiff Kids: digiPlaySpace an interactive playground where kids and grownups alike can paint, control a robotic arm and learn to code!

Take in Some Art at the AGO
The Art Gallery of Ontario transforms into a magical place for kids as the gallery turns into The Kid’s Gallery of Ontario. The event is packed full of activities that centre around kid’s artistic interests. There are many fabulous programs including kite-making, gallery tours, family yoga and much more.

Get Lost in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Wonderland at Casa Loma
Family Day Weekend will see Walt Disney Studios create a magical space as they invite fans of Beauty and the Beast for an unforgettable experience. Taking place at Casa Loma, guests will have an exclusive opportunity to see 9 customers from the movie as well as participate in themed activities.

One of our favourite Disney Movies, PIXAR’s Ratatouille is coming to Toronto in concert form. The concert is scored by Michael Giacchino and performed by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
