8 Pop-Up Markets To Check Out In Toronto This Summer

From vintage clothing to art and everything in between, there’s probably a market happening this summer in Toronto for it. There’s nothing like packing an empty tote bag in anticipation to be filled, and heading over to a local market on a nice summer day. It’s such a fun way to do some shopping! 

Here are the markets we’ll be checking out in Toronto this summer!

Toronto Flower Market

Where: 1001 Queen St West at the SW corner of Queen and Shaw
When: July 15, August 12, September 9, October 7— 10AM – 3PM

Since 2013, the Toronto Flower Market has been going strong. It’s the city’s first outdoor flower market! The market features a variety of Ontario-grown flowers and plants, connecting growers and florists directly with the city. It pops up monthly from May through October, the next upcoming dates are; July 15, August 12, and September 9.  

Toronto Sunday Market

Where: The Parkdale Hall 1605 Queen Street West, Toronto
When: Every Sunday

Every Sunday you can head over to The Parkdale Hall on Queen West to shop from over 40 different vendors! You can expect vintage, crafts, collectibles, jewellery, home decor, and more. 

Her Market

Where: 58 Berkeley St, Toronto
When: Sunday, 23 July 2023— 1 PM – 7PM

Support local women-owned businesses at Her Market, where you can shop over 30 vendors! The first 30 guests will even receive a swag bag full of goodies – and entry is free! If you’re planning on attending this market, consider bringing something to donate, as there will be a donation drive on-site with donations going to a local shelter for youth facing homelessness. 

Rooted In Community Market

Where: Society Clubhouse 967 College Street Toronto
When: Saturday, July 22, 2023— 11AM – 7PM

Rooted In Community is a pop-up market featuring handmade goods, apparel, vintage, and jewellery from local BIPOC and women-owned businesses! Mark your calendars for July 22nd to do some shopping.

Tomo Arts Market

Where: The Parkdale Hall 1605 Queen Street West, Toronto
When: Saturday, August 5, 2023— 10AM – 5PM

If you love to shop from local artists and makers, this market is for you! Tomo Arts Market will be at The Parkdale Hall on Saturday, August 5th and will have over 35 local artists selling items like ceramics, prints, comics, and more!

Made For Me Summer Market

Where: Second Floor Events 461 King Street West Toronto
When: Saturday, July 22, 2023 12PM – Sun, Jul 23, 2023 6PM

Made for Me Marketplace is a Toronto pop-up market showcasing the city’s small businesses and entrepreneurs! Find vintage, handmade accessories, home goods, and so much more! And you can even sip & shop from the bar while supporting Toronto’s hardworking artisans. 

Hippie Market

Where: Queen & Shaw
When: July 22 + 23

If you love vintage fashion and trinkets and haven’t attended the Hippie Market yet, you’re missing out! This market always has a ton of different vendors selling curated vintage goodies – mostly clothing. It pops up regularly and the next one is being hosted July 22nd and 23rd! 

Courtyard Farmers Market

Where: Fairmount Park, 1725 Gerrard Street East, Toronto
When: Every Wednesday from June 21st to October 11th— 3:30 PM to 7:30PM

At the Courtyard Farmers Market, you can shop for products from local farmers, artisans, and entrepreneurs! Every Wednesday from 3:30 to 7:30 PM until October head over to Fairmount Park to experience the market!
