If you are looking for something truly unique to do this summer, Ripley’s Aquarium is hosting an event that is only for the brave.
If swimming with sharks sounds like something you may be into, Ripley’s Aquarium Canada offers a cool program called Discovery Dive that lets brave (read crazy) participants dive with sharks, sawfish, turtles and fish. The program lasts for a full 30 minutes and is lead by an expert diver through Ripley’s Dangerous Lagoon.
In order to participate divers must have their divers certification, must complete a medical waiver and must be 16 years of age or older.
Bookings can be done online and are provided on a first come first serve basis. The cost of the dive is $250 CAD + tax and includes a behind-the-scenes tour as well as photos from the experience.
