Twice a year, the beloved One Of A Kind Show pops up at the Enercare Centre, bringing together hundreds of Canadian makers and artisans for a shopping experience like no other.

This year the spring edition of the show was scheduled to run from March 25 to 29, however, the show is now being postponed.

The spring 2020 One Of A Kind Show will no longer be running as planned due to COVID-19.

This is the first time in 41-years that the One Of A Kind Show has had to be rescheduled. In a statement, the organizers of the event noted that they “believe postponing the Spring Show is the best option to ensure we are delivering an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all our exhibitors, visitors, partners, guests and staff.”

Fortunately, the show already has a new date.

Fans of the One Of A Kind Show can expect the spring edition to take place June 18 to 21. All exhibitors and sponsors that were scheduled to participate in March will be transferred to the June show and anyone who has already purchased spring 2020 One Of A Kind Show tickets will be able to use their tickets in June.

The One Of A Kind Show isn’t the only organizer having to change plans due to the health emergency.

Many prominent companies and retailers have also started taking precautions. And on March 13, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health recommended the immediate suspension of all large events and public gatherings of over 250.

While we’ll have to wait a little longer for the things we were looking forward to, we’re happy to see the public’s health and safety being put first.
