If you visit any of the 270 Bike Share stations on a Wednesday and borrow a bike at no cost to them, whether they want to get to work, tour to the city a bit, or just get some exercise.

According to CP24, ‘Free Ride Wednesdays’ was introduced for the first time last July thanks to federal funding awarded in conjunction with Canada 150 celebrations. The program allowed new and current users of the service to check out a bike for increments of up to 30 minutes free of charge.

BIKE SHARE HACK: free rides are limited to 30-minute intervals but Tory said that users can return their bike to a Bike Share Toronto station and immediately check it out again should they want to continue riding!
