Another day, another new store for Yorkdale Shopping Centre!

Known for its woven leather goods, Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta recently opened its first ever Canadian store, choosing Toronto as its location. With Yorkdale’s expanding offering of prime retailers, we’re not surprised the brand chose the mall for its launch.

Located across from Holt Renfrew Men’s entrance (which is currently under going an exciting renovation), the luxury store is massive.

Sprawling over 4,700 square feet, Bottega Veneta’s first Canadian store features clean fixtures, in-wall and glass display cases, and contemporary sofas.

At the front of the store, shoppers will find walls and display cases full of handbags and wallets. As shoppers make their way to the back, they’ll see luggage and leather travel bags, followed by a selection of namesake sunglasses.

The back of the store is where visitors will find footwear (such as boots, sneakers, woven leather loafers, and pumps), clothing, scarves, belts, and jewellery for both men and women.

While the Yorkdale location is being considered Bottega Veneta’s first Canadian boutique, the Italian brand also has a small boutique in the Vancouver International Airport. The main difference between the two locations is what each individual store offers: Bottega Veneta’s Yorkdale boutique offers the brand’s full line, while the Vancouver airport boutique mainly carries accessories.

Take a closer look at the new Bottega Veneta store below.

In addition to the Bottega Veneta store, Yorkdale recently became home to a Lindt Chocolate flagship, Nike, Pajar, and Chloé boutique. As we mentioned earlier, Holt Renfrew Men is currently undergoing a makeover as the brand is planning to spend $400-million to renovate its stores.

In the next little while, Yorkdale will also see the opening of Canada’s first standalone Valentino boutique, as well as Canada’s second Laline store.

There are many things coming down the pipe for the North Toronto mall. According to Retail-Insider, it currently boasts more first-to-Canada luxury stores than anywhere else in Canada. Over the holidays, the mall will be offering a variety of unique services. They will also launch a Tiffany Tree in celebration of the season.

Stay tuned for more updates — we’re sure there’ll be tons in the next few months!

The store will span around 4,700 square feet on one level and the other will be an assortment of the brand’s fashion, footwear, leather goods and accessories. The smaller version of this store is in the Vancouver International Airport. They mainly sell accessories and are part of the Duty-Free group of stores.
