When you think of the intersection of Gerrard and Jones, what comes to mind? If we’re being honest, probably not a whole lot. But that’s okay because the ‘hood’s newest addition, Hotel Delilah, is helping to bring some attention to that part of town.
Hotel Delilah is a newly opened, super cute restaurant that’s serving up delicious pescatarian fare that’s reminisent of a vacation. That’s not all because soon you really will be able to vacation there.
Upon walking in, between the bright colours and fun vibes, you instantly feel relaxed. Yes, just like you would if you were on an actual holiday.
Hotel Delilah was founded by Ryan Boudah (Nightowl and previously Brooklynn), Executive Chef Marcus Monteiro (previously Brassaii also partner at Melrose on Adelaide), designer Damon Snider (Type-D Living), and Joshua Seaton (SMG, Nightowl, and previously Brooklynn).
This is the groups first endeavour in the hospitality industry. “Opening a restaurant is not a glamorous thing but doing it with partners you love with a common passion for hospitality is what makes it all worth it!” says Joshua Seaton exclusively to StyleDemocracy.
The munchies section is sharable bites like Yuca Chips, Jerk Roasted Cauliflower, and Miss Vickie’s Halibut Fish & Chips.
The Roll One Up section features hand rolls like the Lobster Waffle Roll, BBQ Jackfruit Taco Roll, and the Buffalo Cauliflower Waffle Roll.
Pack A Bowl consists of different salads like the Poke Bowl, Arugula Salad, and the Fried Brussel Sprouts.
In addition to it’s tasty menu options, Hotel Delilah also has an impressive cocktail menu that shouldn’t be overlooked. The ‘Honey Bee’ is super tasty, as is ‘Free The Ginger.’
An important thing to note is that all the seafood served at Hotel Delilah is Ocean Wise-certified. The restaurant has also partnered with 100km Foods to ensure that its produce and other various ingredients have been sourced from no further than 100 kilometres of Toronto.
There’s truly something for everyone at Hotel Delilah, the menu is fun, the atmosphere is exciting, great for families, or even a girls night out.
This is also a great place pretty much any day of the week as on Sundays there’s half price wine and bubbly. On Mondays you can take advantage of buck-a-shuck oysters and everyday you can sip top shelf tequila for just $6 after 10 p.m.
