Luxury brand Saint Laurent will open a flagship location next year on Bloor Street West in Toronto, Retail Insider reports.

It will be one of the largest Saint Laurent stores in the world, and the largest in Canada, by far, measuring 10,400 square feet. It will occupy the location that was once home to J. Crew and Brooks Brothers.

This location will be the brand’s third location in Toronto, and the new location’s design is said to be unlike other Saint Laurent locations in Canada.

Saint Laurent’s opening of a flagship location on 110 Bloor Street West aligns with the other luxury clientele Bloor West is currently home to. Continuing to make it a prime location for luxury shoppers.

“The opening of Saint Laurent solidifies Bloor as Canada’s luxury retail street, joining other significant brands that already have stores nearby as well as new luxury retail brands that will be opening next year,” Markowitz said to Retail Insider

The well-known Parisian brand, Saint Laurent (also formerly known as Yves St Laurent) just opened a massive flagship store on Bloor Street. Technically, it’s actually connected to the Holt Renfrew though it stands as its own boutique and carries the entire collection for both men and women.

The main themes throughout the new store are metal and marble. The flooring and walls are primarily marble with an added touch of mirrors to create an overall feeling of depth. This location divides the store into separate areas that are for menswear, women’s ready to wear, footwear and accessories. At the front of the store is where the handbags are displayed facing Bloor Street.

This store is the newest feature for the recently renovated Holt Renfrew, which is getting redone in sections over time. Insider sources are telling us a major revamp is going to be happening soon. Later this year, Birks will reveal a brand new flagship store across the street at the Manulife Centre.
