If you’ve taken inventory of your current summer wardrobe and found that it needs a bit of an upgrade, we get it. It’s only natural to crave a closet refresh at the beginning of a new season! Whether your sizing has changed, you’ve noticed you don’t have nearly enough warm-weather staples to make it through days in the sun, or you simply want to update your closet with some of the latest trends, upgrading your wardrobe for summer can be quite a pricey affair. Unless you know the right places to shop!
You can find reasonably priced summer pieces that don’t feel cheap if you just know where to look! We’ve rounded up 10 of our favourite budget-friendly stores to upgrade your summer wardrobe at. Ensuring you look your best anywhere you decide to go this summer, from work to a weekend getaway.
H&M is one of our main go-to’s when it comes to shopping the latest fashion trends on a budget! You can always trust to find a wide variety of styles across every category, from apparel to accessories, casual or formal. Find items that look and feel more expensive than they are by paying attention to the fibre content!
If what your summer is lacking is great wardrobe basics, pay UNIQLO a visit. Its pieces always feel super well-made and high-quality, yet are still reasonably priced. Its AIRism collection will get you through summer like a breeze with its anti-odour, quick-dry, and cool-to-the-touch fabric.
We swear, Joe Fresh‘s selection continues to get better and better! From swimwear to everyday basics, you can shop it all – while keeping your savings intact. It always has so many fun colours and prints to explore alongside its neutral options.
There always seems to be a sale happening at Reitmans, so you’re sure to find a great deal! We love Reitmans for its business-casual options, such as these chic linen pants (that come in every colour imaginable)!
Never underestimate Old Navy! The store always has some kind of deal going on and has totally mastered summer style this year. From tenniscore to garden-girl, Old Navy has all the hot trends for a steal.
Whether you’re a guest at an upcoming wedding or on the hunt for the perfect summer night-out outfit, Dynamite has you covered. While its prices are a tad higher than some others on this list, pretty much everything is under $100 – most ranging at the $30-70 mark.
Size-inclusive clothing can be so annoyingly expensive. But not at Torrid! The store carries sizes 10 to 30, and is one of those places that always has a promo going on (we love to see it). Shop summery dresses, workwear, cute tops, and so much more while saving some coins.
While, unfortunately, you can’t shop Winners or Marshalls online, its stores are always worth a visit! Shop a ton of notable brands at a discount (usually 20-60% off!) by browsing through the TJX selection. Every location will have a different inventory, so it’s like a scavenger hunt for the best deal!
Whether you’re shopping for bras, undies, activewear, loungewear, or all of the above, you can always turn to Aerie to find ultra-cozy staples at a great price. Its swimsuits are also amazing (and currently on sale)!
Gap is having a major moment right now and we are so here for it! We love Gap for its casual essentials, especially its denim range. While its original prices can be a touch high, you can trust to find an array of markdowns at all times.
