Whether you enjoy them plain or dressed up, with wine or champagne, or even paired with beer, there’s a deal going on every day of the week. Clearly, the only thing the city loves more than a half priced bottle, is oysters that only cost $1.

This sleek outpost is in the business of brewing small-batch beer and blessing us with $1 oysters every Wednesday. Located in the heart of the city, Batch is the perfect place to gather with friends or work colleagues while you sip on a $5 Lot 9 Pilsner. We suggest making it a Wednesday night tradition.

The Hole in the Wall might be one of the coziest restaurants in Toronto to grab some oysters. Better yet, make sure to go there on a Tuesday to take advantage of the buck-a-shuck deal from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. You won’t regret it as there’s also a nice selection of craft beers to wash all that oyster deliciousness down.

While Montecito’s Wine Wednesdays is a definite treat, the restaurant’s Thursday deal is just as popular. Starting at 5 p.m. upstairs in By The Glass, oysters are only $1 with any purchase of a bottle of wine. Unlike other wine bars, the sophisticated spot also promises to have a set markup of $30 on every bottle of wine. Looks like oysters aren’t the only deal here.

With the weather cooling down in Toronto, there’s no better way to warm up than rounding up a group of friends and indulging in brunch while sipping on some delicious cocktails. Brunch has become a weekend staple in Toronto, and many restaurants have stepped up their game, with offerings from lemon ricotta pancakes, to grilled octopus benny, to duck Benedict, and of course specialty Caesars and mimosas by the plenty.
Whether you had a wild Friday or Saturday night, or just want to get a little happy with your friends this weekend, Toronto boasts some of the best boozy brunch spots. Check them out below!

Loved for its cool décor as much as its tasty yet easy-on-the-wallet brunch, Drake Commissary is a must-visit boozy brunch spot. From the coconut and mint chia bowl, to mushroom and onion quiche, to a smoked cured & potted fish platter perfect for sharing with friends, you could say they cover it all. Choose from one of three Caesars (the gin and cucumber is to die for,) or a mimosa with orange and grapefruit, and you’re good as gold.

Whether you have a savoury or sweet tooth, Mildred’s Temple Kitchen is decked out with the works when it comes to their brunch menu. Think: crunchy granola with brûléed bananas, poached eggs with smoked salmon on a croissant, and a grilled cheese sourdough sandwich. Plus, every weekend, they boast a new brunch feature that’s guaranteed to help with a hangover. Pair your choice with a pink mimosa made with Belstar Rosé and fresh grapefruit, or one of their Caesars or libations if you’re feeling extra “under the weather” and the brunch feature just won’t cut it.

Served from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays and 10am to 3pm on Sundays, Portland Variety is a great place to get your weekend brunch on. They serve everything from lemon ricotta pancakes to smashed avocado toast, but I’d have to recommend the huevos chilaquiles. Add a tropical mimosa (made with orange-mango-banana juice), a ginger smash, or their very own Portland spritzer (shiny apple cider with pinot noir and grapefruit juice) and you’re in for a seriously delicious boozy brunch.

Ufficio only serves brunch on Sunday (11 am to 3 pm) so reserve a spot if you can, because it’s bound to get crowded. Sip on the Bellini of the day while indulging in grilled octopus benny, house cured smoked salmon, or avocado toast with ricotta and mascarpone. They also serve a sandwich, pasta and sweet of the day, but you’ll have to visit to see what they are.
158 Cumberland Street

From 11 to 4 every weekend, Bar Reyna offers an array of mouth-watering brunch options from shakshuka to duck Benedict to 5 different styles of Mediterranean flavoured fries. Not to mention their cocktail list, filled with cleverly named libations such as Queen Bey’s Lemonade, Romeo’s Revenge and King Arthur’s Concubine. Or of course, you can stick with a classic like a Moscow mule, mojito or Caesar.
