Yes, summer is almost over, but don’t fret – we still have a few more weeks to enjoy the beautiful weather. And if you’re itching to explore then this stunning one-day train trip will definitely feed your travel cravings this fall.
There’s something magical about travelling by train – you get the chance to unplug and admire the breathtaking views while listening to the train’s meditative rolling rattle. This fall you can enjoy all of this with the Agawa Canyon tour, which will take you into the Agawa Canyon and let you explore beautiful waterfalls, landscapes and more.
According to the website, you will be able to explore the canyon at Mile 102 and travel down 500 feet over the next 10 miles to the floor of the Agawa Canyon, created over 1.2 billion years ago by faulting and widened and reshaped by the last ice-age that retreated 10,000 years ago.
To see this natural beauty will cost you $100.88 per ticket. The train departs from Sault Ste. Marie at 8am and returns at 6pm.
