11 Toronto Restaurants With The Best Father’s Day Meal Deals
So what does dad really want for Father’s Day? What I have seen over the last few years is mothers, kids, and wives buying sock subscriptions and BBQ equipment hoping dad gets excited. Is that really what men want? I know I can’t speak for all, but I am pretty sure that a nice night out away from the kids is far more appealing than fashion accessories and homeware items. After all, the key to a man’s heart is through his stomach, right? I’ve rounded up some of the best Father’s Day dinner deals in Toronto — some for the budget hungry, and some for the die hard foodie dad who likes to indulge.
Here are our top 11 picks for this weekend to celebrate dad and treat him to a meal he’ll never forget!
Only on Father’s Day, get 50% off ALL bottles of wine if you mention Father50 when making your reservation at The Carbon Bar. This deal is available all day whether you’re indulging in brunch or enjoying dinner.
Celebrate Father’s Day with Gretsky’s Sunday Funday specials that are available every Sunday. These include $5 dollar Rail, $6 Caesars, $6 Mimosas, and $6 Rosé.
Dad eats for FREE on Sunday! Liberty Commons will pay the bill for papa which means you only need to pay for yourself and have some extra cash pocketed for an extra round of $6 Caesars and Radlers.
*Receive Dad’s brunch or dinner entrée for free with the purchase of a second entrée of equal or greater value. Excludes large format menu items and additional restrictions may apply.*
To celebrate dad all weekend long, from Friday to Sunday, STK will be offering a Prime Rib Special along with a Woodford Reserve special. Treat dad to a 12 ounce, 16 ounce, or 20 ounce Canadian prime ribeye steak with his choice of side! This is an off-menu item that’s only available for this weekend only!
On Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., treat dad to a lobster eggs benny or french toast. No matter his craving, MARBL has something for everyone! BONUS: every dad who celebrates on June 16th will receive a complimentary Stella chalice.
If dad is particular about wine, head to Blu Ristorante as it’s offering free corkage on Father’s Day. Your meal might be a bit pricy, but at least you can bring in dad’s favourite bottle of vino and save on huge wine markups.
For the dad who likes to indulge, one of my favourite spots, Cafe Bouloud, will be offering a special Father’s Day brunch menu. The menu includes 2 courses for $72 or 3 courses for $79 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Feel like getting out of the “city” for the evening? Head to The Guild Inn Estate for a dinner event that’s bound to satisfy even those with “the hungriest of appetites”. For $39.95 plus tax, enjoy a prix-fixe 3-course dinner at this beautiful historic venue overlooking Guild Park and Gardens.
Yorkville’s prized ONE Restaurant, by Chef Mark McEwan, is giving dad the gift of a tasty chicken & waffles special for Father’s Day. What could be better than sharing a plate of dill pickle brined, crispy fried chicken, that’s served with maple syrup and house-whipped butter, with dad? Grab a spot on the patio, too for a little people watching — here’s hoping the weather holds up!
Celebrate dad with delicious meats cooked over an open wood fire — who wouldn’t love that? For both lunch and dinner, Noce on Queen West is offering $8 negronis, $5 Peronis, and $5 prosecco. BONUS: the patio is now open as well!
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Sunday, enjoy Craft’s famous brunch buffet which includes breakfast classics and fresh fruit to dip in a chocolate fountain. BONUS: the buffet even includes a welcome beer for dad!
