One of the best things about living in Toronto is that the city is brimming with beautiful architecture, unique coffee shops, restaurants, art exhibits and pop-up experiences. All of these things make Toronto the perfect playground for the ultimate Insta-shots all year round.
So if you’re looking to step up your Instagram game this fall, check out these locations asap:
Cloud Gardens Conservatory
If you’re looking for lush foliage to serve as your Instagram background, check out the Cloud Gardens Conservatory. This small botanical garden found in the industrial downtown core is the perfect place to achieve that green-meets-city vibe.
Casa Loma
This Gothic Revival style castle is beautiful both inside and outside regardless of the season. But in fall this place becomes especially charming. The extravagant estate features beautiful gardens, a spectacular view of the city skyline and astonishing interiors.
Unzipped Toronto
This massive interactive installation was designed by the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) as part of an annual architectural program at the Serpentine Galleries in London. The temporary exhibit is free to the public and will stay open until November 2018. Book free tickets at unzippedtoronto.com and don’t forget to bring your camera.
June Callwood Park
June Callwood Park-also known as the Pink Park-was built in memory of Canadian journalist and social activist June Callwood. The bubblegum pink space features abstract and geometrical patterns that serve as a playground for avid Instagrammers.
Ripley’s
As temperatures cool down, we don’t feel like spending too much time outside let alone taking pictures. But don’t worry, the biggest and the most stunning aquarium in Toronto has got you covered all year round. The aquarium features thousands of fish species, ranging from cute and small to amazing and large and a breathtaking underwater tunnel with the perfect lighting for your next Insta-shot.
Kensington Market
It seems like every corner in Kensington Market is Instagram-worthy. Whether it be in front of a graffiti plant-filled car, a colourful house, patterned steps on a patio or the famed Kensington sign (located on the top outdoor level of a Baldwin St. parking garage), you’re sure to get a good ‘gram.
Allan Gardens
Closer to downtown, the Allan Gardens greenhouse is open to the public and is home to tropical flora and fauna (they even have a cacti garden).
Early Bird
Looking for a cute brunch spot to take pics for the ‘gram? Look no further. Early bird serves the most Instagrammable avocado toasts and the best part is that they are just as tasty as they look!
Snap Coffee
No Instagram is complete without a perfect coffee shop shot. If you want to bring your flatlay art to the next level, visit Snap Coffee, they will add a unique monogram to your coffee – from cute sayings to Drake’s face, and even a portrait of your dog.
Pantry
This miniature take-out joint specializes in prepared vegetarian & fish dishes with eclectic influences and the interior definitely deserves to be Instagrammed!
