When it comes to cool spaces The Bentway is Toronto’s newest golden child. Weaving together seven local neighbourhoods and spanning across 1.75km underneath the city’s Gardiner Expressway, this spot is open to the public. Not only does The Bentway offer year-round activities and events, it will also serve as an excellent location to kick back with your laptop, earbuds and a cup of joe and finish off that 12-page paper you’ve been putting off. Oh, and don’t worry about having a spotty or a rigorously slow connection, the WiFi is powered by Toronto based Internet service provider Beanfield Metroconnect, and well… anyone who uses them knows their service is are a notch above the rest.

Page One Café is located in the heart of Ryerson’s student territory, the Yonge and Dundas neighbourhood. Unlike most coffee shops this hybrid spot was created to cater specifically to local students. Walls lined with typewriters and a collection of books, this place provides a cool yet offbeat atmosphere for all students to use. Bring your laptop as this café supplies guests with Beanfield’s fast and reliable WiFi, making Page One a hit amongst the area’s academics. Whether you’re there to cram for a final over a latte or interested in getting creative for an assignment over a cocktail this is the place for you. Make sure you don’t leave without eating, Page One Café has an excellent assortment of sandwiches, appetizers and baked goods, YUM!
