May Two-Four. The long weekend that’s meant to kick-off the summer. While the weather may not be cooperating, it hasn’t stopped restaurants from opening up their patios and there’s certainly no shortage of ice-cold beverages, including sips of the slush variety.
On Friday, May 19th of the long weekend, 7-Eleven is hosting Bring Your Own Cup Day at locations Canada-wide. The day allows customers to stop by any participating 7-Eleven convenience store with their own drinking vessel (up to 26cm in diameter) and fill it with any (or all) of your favourite Slurpee flavours. Best part yet? It’ll only cost you $1.50 – brain freeze included.
But of course, there are a few rules so that things don’t get out of hand. You can check them out on 7-Eleven’s event page here and find the nearest 7-Eleven location here.
Will you kick off the long weekend with Bring Your Own Cup Day?
