A New Korean-Inspired Variety Store Is Opening In Toronto

With all the closures that seem to be happening everyday, store openings are quickly becoming things to celebrate.

Korean-inspired retailer, Ximivogue is coming to Toronto at CF Fairview Mall and CF Sherway Gardens.

According to Retail Insider, The Fairview location is set to cover about 1,675 square feet and will be located on the mall’s second level while their Sherway spot will replace a 1,153 square foot unit that was once occupied by Zwilling J.A. Henckels.

With over 1,400 stores across Asia, U.A.E, Africa, Latin America, and Australia, Ximivogue has been opening stores like it’s nobody’s business (pun intended.) Set to “open soon,” this store has some similarities to Miniso, another Chinese-owned retailer.

An interesting fact is that Ximivogue also operates under the name Ximiso and sometimes Ximivoue. Are you keeping up yet? Adding fuel to the fire is the claim that Ximivogue is ripping off Miniso with their logos being pretty similar and their pseudonym, Ximiso sounding familiar as well.

Wondering what type of goods you can shop at Ximivogue? Expect to see lots of beauty and skincare, home accessories, electronics and home decor all at low prices because who doesn’t love a good ol’ bargain?
