Allbirds Finally Has a Pop-up Shop On Queen West For The Summer

San Fransisco based footwear brand has been blowing up everywhere, known as the “most comfortable shoe on earth.” Finally, we have our very own Allbirds store popping up for the whole summer!

The name ‘Allbirds’ is a historical reference to New Zealand was so remote at one time that its only inhabitants were “all birds.”

The pop-up shop, located on Queen West, will be at this retail space all summer long. This will help founders, Tim Brown and Joey Zwillinger determine if they want to bring a permanent location to Canada.

There are three styles of shoes and two materials for men and women – the Runner, Lounger and the most recent, the Skipper for $135. For children, they are called ‘Smallbirds’. All styles are unisex and minimalist. “The Wool Collection, including the Wool Runner and Wool Lounger, which uses ZQ-certified merino wool that is crafted in one of the world’s finest textile mills outside of Milan, Italy,” according to Retail-Insider.

The pop-up is located at 700 Queen Street West and has an open-space concept with lots of seats to try shoes on. In the back, you can find the beautifully designed “runway” that encompasses Toronto’s personality and includes concrete sidewalks, a wooden boardwalk and stones laid along the pathway with graffiti-type art splashed on the walls.
