Free movies? Sign us up!
Cineplex Entertainment recently announced that for its seventh annual Community Day they will be hosting a morning of free movies on Saturday, October 14. This year’s line-up includes family-friendly classics like Kung Fu Panda 3, Trolls, Ice Age: Collision Course, and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, as well as Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates for the more mature crowd.
As for snacks, well those will still cost ya, but not an arm and a leg. Select concessions like popcorn, soft drinks and certain candy items are priced at just $2.50.
All proceeds from donations and select concession sales will go to support Cineplex’s national charity partner WE — a movement that brings people together and gives them the tools they need to change the world.
