Have you ever dreamt of grabbing a drink with a basketball legend? Well, your dream is about to come true.
Halpern Wine, a Toronto-based wine agency, is making the best out of self-isolation with the launch of its series Crew Classé at Home. Twice a week, Halpern Wine will invite guests to chat, learn, and drink with winemakers and notables.
For the second volume of Crew Classé at Home, former pro basketball star Dwyane Wade will host the series with Antonio Galloni, one of the world’s top wine critics.
And what does the former Miami Heat player know about wine? Well, actually, a lot. For those unaware, with the help of winemaker Jayson Pahlmeyer, Wade created D Wade Cellars a few years ago. Today, D Wade Cellars produces a variety of different wines including Three by Wade Rosé, Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, and Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
Viewers are invited to join the chat via Zoom and get schooled on wine by the two connoisseurs.
Grab a seat on your couch and grab your beverage of choice for a tasting with Wade and Galloni. The talk will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 7 p.m. EST on Zoom — just remember to register before the session. Or if you can’t make it, you can catch all of Crew Classé At Home after they air live on the Halpern Enterprises YouTube channel.
The series will take place every Saturday at 1 p.m. EST and Wednesday at 7 p.m. EST on Zoom.
