Interior design junkies will be happy to hear that Restoration Hardware (RH) will be opening its fourth Ontario-based location at Yorkdale Shopping Centre this October. However, shoppers can expect this Restoration Hardware to be different than the rest.
RH Toronto, The Gallery at Yorkdale will be the first gallery in Canada — and only the second across the globe, with the first in Chicago — to feature an integrated culinary experience in partnership with renowned restauranteur Brendan Sodikoff. So not only will the Yorkdale location boast luxurious, Instagram-worthy home furnishings, it will also feature a beautiful café with seasonal, ingredient-driven menus, an espresso bar, a curated selection of artisanal wines and craft beers, and fresh house-made doughnuts and pastries from Sodikoff’s famed Doughnut Vault in Chicago.
If the in-store eatery is anything like its Chicago predecessor (pictured below), Toronto is in for a real treat.
Conceptualized by RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman and design architect James Gillam of Backen, Gillam & Kroeger, a firm recognized as one of Architectural Digest’s Top 100 architect and design firms in the world, the new RH Toronto will stand at a whopping 70,000 square feet.
Spanning over four levels of indoor and outdoor space, shoppers will be able to browse RH Interiors, RH Modern, and RH Outdoor collections, and linger around the Rooftop Park & Conservatory, which promises to offer an incredible view of the Toronto skyline.
Join RH Toronto and celebrate the grand opening of The Gallery at Yorkdale on October 20 at 11am. If you love design, this is an opening you don’t want to miss. And if you can’t make it, don’t fret — just keep an eye on the blog for a full preview of the store!
