If you love all things beauty, you’ll be excited to hear that a popular South Korean beauty brand has chosen Toronto as the location for its first Canadian store.

Innisfree will open its first Canadian store at Yorkdale Shopping Centre this summer.

According to our friends at Retail-Insider, the Innisfree Yorkdale location will stand at almost 2,500-square-feet and will be situated in the Nordstrom-anchored wing of the mall. The beauty brand will face UNIQLO and MUJI, and call other beauty and fragrance brands like Laline as its neighbours.

For those unfamiliar with Innisfree, the brand focuses on clean beauty.

Innisfree products are made with natural ingredients responsibly sourced from Jeju Island in Korea. According to Innisfree’s website, the island has volcanic origins that make the ecosystem a “fertile oasis” that offer “unparalleled resources to nurture beautiful skin” without the use of chemicals and preservatives.

The brand’s product offerings are vast, ranging from skin care and makeup to body and hair. Among the K-beauty brand’s best sellers are the Intensive Hydrating Serum With Green Tea Seed, My Real Squeeze Mask, Youth-Enriched Cream With Orchids, Matte Mineral Setting Powder, and Skinny Waterproof Microcara. Most items are fairly affordable, with the average price point between $20 and $30.

No exact opening date has been revealed for Innisfree Toronto yet.

However, we do know that Innisfree Toronto won’t be the only Canadian store Innisfree will open. According to Retail-Insider, the brand is rapidly expanding in North America and has its eyes set on Vancouver for another location.

Stay tuned for more updates on the brand.
