Getting sauced at home is now even easier with the arrival of online shopping and delivery from the LCBO. The Toronto Star is reporting that the LCBO has launched web sales for around 5,000 products, making products from Canada and all over the world available.
The Star highlights that Ontarians looking to booze it up can have a choice of having their products delivered to their homes by Canada Post for a $12 fee on orders greater than $50, or a free pick up at the LCBO of their choice. Concerned parents need not to worry as there will be identification checks prior to the delivery of the product.
The site went live last night and has already amassed dozens of orders. The delivery options seem a little confusing. According to The Star, home deliveries will be made in two to three days, and four to 12 days when shipped to LCBO stores, which begs the question why would you ship it to a store?
