There are few things I enjoy more than a quiet stroll around a well-curated antique store. Even when I’m not looking for anything in particular, when I pass by one and I have the time (you’ve got to have the time!), I can’t help but pop in to see what little knick-knacks I’ll discover. This family-run business has been operating since 1963 and it’s known for curating some of the best antiques in the world. Bernardi’s Antiques has been a Mt. Pleasant staple for over 40 years but did you know that you can shop online? That’s right, you can shop the store’s selection of antique furniture, trinkets, decor, jewellery, and so much more anytime you want from the comfort of home.
Antique stores are great but ever visited a whole antique market? It’s here at the Waterford Antique Market that you can shop from a number of vendors under one roof. Toronto’s own Around The Block is known for being a great consignment store but did you know that it also houses a variety of antiques? In addition to the incredible selection of pretty much anything you can think of like purses, jewellery, lighting, mirrors, and more, you can also go antique hunting either in-store or online.
If you fancy a road trip, visit Antiques On Highway 48 in Baldwin which is just near Lake Simcoe. If a drive isn’t your idea of a good time then why not shop online? After just a few clicks you’ll notice that the store has a wide variety of antiques, vintage finds, and collectibles. Inventory is constantly changing as items are always coming through its doors.
