There are few things I enjoy more than a quiet stroll around a well-curated antique store. Even when I’m not looking for anything in particular, when I pass by one and I have the time (you’ve got to have the time!), I can’t help but pop in to see what little knick-knacks I’ll discover. If you, like me, are missing shopping in antique stores, then you should know that there are a bunch that you can shop online, and bonus because some are even located in the GTA!

Blackbird Vintage Finds
Located in the iconic Distillery District, this charming store curates beautiful antiques but also sells gifts and items like candles, cookbooks, stationary, and much more. The vintage items you can expect to find range from dishes, antique signage, typewriters, railway silver, and pretty much anything else you can think of. While the shop might be on the smaller size, don’t under estimate it because I’ve scored a few finds from Blackbird and I’ve always walked out not only pleased as punch with my purchases, but proud that I’ve supported a local business!
Green’s Antiques
Another Toronto gem to add to your list is Green’s Antiques, located in the Cabbagetown area. This family-run business has been operating since 1963 and it’s known for curating some of the best antiques in the world. Expect to find treasures like jewellery, bronze statues, figurines, china, and much more. In addition to all the antiques it houses, Green’s also specializes in furniture repair and restoration.
Bernardi’s Antiques
Bernardi’s Antiques has been a Mt. Pleasant staple for over 40 years but did you know that you can shop online? That’s right, you can shop the store’s selection of antique furniture, trinkets, decor, jewellery, and so much more anytime you want from the comfort of home.
Waterford Antique Market
Antique stores are great but ever visited a whole antique market? It’s here at the Waterford Antique Market that you can shop from a number of vendors under one roof. Not down to make the drive all the way to Waterford? The shop its online market whenever you want and score goodies like rare collectibles, vintage radios, decor, and much more.
Around The Block
Toronto’s own Around The Block is known for being a great consignment store but did you know that it also houses a variety of antiques? In addition to the incredible selection of pretty much anything you can think of like purses, jewellery, lighting, mirrors, and more, you can also go antique hunting either in-store or online.
Antiques On Highway 48
If you fancy a road trip, visit Antiques On Highway 48 in Baldwin which is just near Lake Simcoe. If a drive isn’t your idea of a good time then why not shop online? After just a few clicks you’ll notice that the store has a wide variety of antiques, vintage finds, and collectibles. Inventory is constantly changing as items are always coming through its doors.
Second Voyage Vintage
If beautifully curated antiques are your thing then you’ll want to check out Second Voyage Vintage. The Toronto-based Etsy shop stocks beautiful antique items like wood trays, cookery, figurines, bottles, books, and much more and it even ships to the U.S., too!

Known for being the general store for the vintage soul is Bird & Bee Vintage that’s located in Paris, Ontario.
