If you know anything about us, you know that we love a new store opening — especially when its the first in Canada. And if you’re a beauty maven in Canada, or more specifically, the GTA, you’re going to be extra pumped up about this news.

Morphe Cosmetics has opened its first location in Canada.

The store opened its doors on Friday, December 7 at Square One Shopping Centre, and joins a plethora of notable retailers — such as Holt Renfrew, Aritzia, OVO, and more — at the Mississauga-based mall.

Located in between White House Black Market and Massimo Dutti, the new Morphe store location is situated across from Sephora and MAC cosmetics, making that stretch of Square One a must-visit for cosmetic and beauty lovers alike.

If you love cosmetics, you need to check out the Morphe Square One location.

Founded in 2008, Morphe has built a cult-like following. The brand was created for creators, and is a favourite amongst beauty gurus and makeup artists.

One reason why we, along with many others, particularly love the brand is because of their focus on affordability.

If you’ve heard of the brand, you’ve likely heard of their brushes and eye pallets. While competing brands sell their pallets for sky-high prices, with most starting at $50 for a handful of shades, Morphe’s eye pallets can be found for a fraction of the cost.

On Morphe’s Canadian website, which launched earlier this year in May, prices for eye pallets start at $30 for 35 shades. Now, that’s a steal! The brand’s brushes are also highly raved about, and sets start at $39.

Most recently, Morphe collaborated with popular beauty YouTuber James Charles for a palette.

The Sister Collection has been a major hit with shoppers and fans of the beauty guru. Currently, it’s completely sold out. The Morphe x James palette is priced at $50 for 39 shades, while the brush set, which features 34 brushes, a sponge, and custom tubby, is priced at $190.

While the collection isn’t available at the moment, fans of the brand and the guru can sign up to be notified of when the Morphe x James collection is back.

We’re hoping to drop by Canada’s first Morphe store at Square One soon, so keep your eyes peeled for a full preview!
