The historic commercial building at 238 Queen Street West is set to go under a major overhaul that will see the addition of a new food concept dubbed “Queen Street Eats”. The concept will entail a new multi-vendor food “hall” that will feature food and beverage tenants.
Queen Street Eats is positioning itself ‘as the next great food destination on Queen Street West’. The new concept couldn’t ask for a better location. Located in the former Queen Live space directly across from the Much Music Building, Retail-Insider reports that the daytime population around 238 Queen Street West reaches 200,000 people.
Everything has been taken into consideration when it comes to the new space at 238 Queen Street West. Queen Street Eats has been designed in a way to cater to both the diners’ and tenants’ enjoyment and success. Each vendor unit will have proper specs to meet the each unit’s needs. Queen Street Eats will combine the best of the best in Toronto hospitality, from age-old staples to trend-setting food concepts. Queen Street Eats’ re-developed site plan was created to entice premium tenants of different and eclectic cuisines, to compliment the Queen Street West vibe and customer experience.
As the site plans show, both stall sizes and concepts, are just suggestions – Queen Street Eats is open to all proposals for both concept and size of units.
While actual restaurants and beverages providers have yet to be named Queen Street Eats will look to succeed in a location that has seen a slew of failed concepts before.
