A Haunting New Attraction is Coming to the Toronto Islands

October is the spookiest time of year, and luckily in Toronto, there’s no shortage of attractions where you can scare yourself silly. While a typical jaunt to the nearest haunted house may be an annual tradition, there’s a new chilling event that you’re going to want to check out.

Spooky Lagoon’s Toronto Island Stories: Murder at the Lighthouse is the newest haunted production to land in the city. Those brave enough to check it out will hop aboard an eerie boat ride over to the island, while hearing the legendary tale of the murder of John Paul Radelmüller – Gibraltar Point Lighthouse’s most famous keeper. You’ll feel as if you’ve stepped back in time, with storytellers dressed head-to-toe in full 1900s garb. The storytellers will then lead you up to the old lighthouse where it is said Radelmüller’s remains were found.

Tickets to Toronto Island Stories: Murder at the Lighthouse, which is run by Tiki Taxi, are $25 per person. Boats will run every 10 minutes, every weekend until the end of October, beginning at sunset on October 5.

What: Toronto Island Stories: Murder at the Lighthouse
When: Oct. 5-8, 13-14, 20-21, 27-31 @ sunset
Where: 175 Queens Quay West
