Sephora’s Beauty Insider Loyalty Program might be one of the best reward programs around. The tiered system — which has three different levels: Insider, VIB, and Rouge — allows customers to collect points that can later be spent on more product.
In addition, Beauty Insiders are rewarded with special gifts on their birthday, and different levels have different perks. The perks range from free shipping to free products, exclusive event invites, early access to products, and more.

Just recently, Sephora updated its Beauty Insider Loyalty Program and it’s even better than before.
Last year, Sephora made some changes to the program, increasing points for tiered members and adding on more perks. And this month, they’ve updated the program once more. New year, new perks!
The first update offers birthday gifts for all tiers during the month of a member’s birthday. Insiders can choose between two options, while VIB and Rouge members have four choices, including 250 bonus points. Additionally, if you’re a Rouge member, you can score a free brow wax!
This year, Sephora has updated its birthday program to include a skincare-duo by Drunk Elephant and 3-piece Kat Von D Beauty set. VIB and Rouge members also have a third option. Right now, it’s the Milk Makeup mini set, but it will rotate throughout the year — so you’re in for a surprise!
And the Beauty Insider Loyalty Program update doesn’t stop there!
Sephora is also adding new celebration gift options by tier. Existing and new VIB and Rouge members are given a choice of one of three perks:
- Points: VIB members add 500 to their account and Rouge may add 750
- Free Shipping: Rouge receives free 2-day shipping, while VIB receives free shipping over $35
- Shareable Makeovers: Valued at $200, Rouge members can share up to four Makeup Deluxe Full-Face Makeover experiences, while VIB members may keep or share up to two.
