If you’re looking for the ultimate camping experience but aren’t into the whole outdoorsy vibe, the solution to your problem is glamping. Imagine getting to enjoy all the perks like campfires, s’mores, starry night skies and more while also avoiding all the negatives like gross washrooms, sleeping on the ground, and worrying about your stuff getting soaked if it rains.

That’s the best thing about glamping – you can still connect with nature but you don’t have to be miserable while doing it. There are a variety of different options from tipis, pods, yurts and more to choose. Thankfully, there is an abundance of Glamping spots in Ontario but we narrowed it down to our top 8 favourite spots:

Have you been glamping before? Let us know in the comments!

With mosquitos, dirt and uncomfortable air mattresses, it’s no surprise that not everyone loves camping. While some people are built for the great outdoors, others are built for urban life; skyscrapers, the hum of traffic, and all. Luckily, glamping is on the rise, giving those urbanites who might have fervent FOMO the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds.

From Friday, July 7 to Sunday, July 9, Strongbow is bringing an Orchard Glampground to a 10-storey high rooftop at the corner of King and Victoria, giving city-loving folks the opportunity to camp and connect with nature with the creature comforts of home.

There’s just one catch, though… You need an invite.

If this sounds like the staycation of your dreams, you can enter to win the Orchard Glampground experience for you and three of your closest pals by entering a contest on Instagram or Facebook. All you have to do is share a photo or a video where you’re missing out on nature, and remember to use the hashtag #orchardglampground and tag @Strongbow.Ca on Facebook or @Strongbow on Instagram.
