A much anticipated Italian all-in-one grocery market, restaurant, bakery, enoteca, and cheese shop is hiring hundreds of people for its Canadian debut.
Opening at the Manulife Centre later this year, Eataly is looking to fill over 400 culinary, hospitality, and retail professionals to join its team in Toronto. The job fair is taking place at 1499 Yonge Street between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and will give job hunters the opportunity to chat with Eataly’s team, interview, and learn more about the positions on offer.

They’re also looking for graphic designers, quick service managers, a warehouse manager, servers, bussers, cashiers, and an artisanal cheese and salumi manager, which, to be honest, sounds like a dream job.
If you’re interested in checking the Eataly Toronto job fair out, just make sure to apply online beforehand, and bring a hard copy of your resume with you on the day of.

So, if you do get a job after attending the job fair, you’ll be a part of culinary history! Plus, there are probably some pretty cool work perks to be had.
Torontonians are in for a treat when Eataly opens later this year. The restaurant slash grocer is meant to transport visitors to the outdoor markets in Italy. There will be multiple restaurants, bars, and places inside Eataly to grab authentic eats, spanning over three floors and 50,000-square-feet.
While there’s still no official word on when Eataly will open to the public, the hunt to fill positions make us feel like it’s not so far away.

On Tuesday, September 25, the Canadian Apparel Federation will be partnering with the City of Toronto to host the Apparel and Fashion Career Fair for students and adults.
Located at Metro Hall in Downtown Toronto, the event will connect top employers with prospective employees. This is a unique opportunity for those who are entering the industry for the first time to put their skills to the test in new and innovative ways and learn from some of the biggest names in the industry.
Retailers you can expect in attendance include Cobmex, Pink Tartan, Jenny Bird, Wuxly Movement, Studio La Beauté, Encircled, Comrags and more.
The event will also feature a networking reception, coffee, hors-d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.

Calling all fall job seekers: there’s a big retail job fair happening in Toronto this September.
On Tuesday, September 12, the Retail Council of Canada will be partnering with City of Toronto for a retail job fair for youth and adults. With over 25 different retailers in tow and over 500 opportunities up for grabs, you’re sure to find something to help pay those bills.
Retailers you can expect in attendance include Hudson’s Bay, Roots, Winners, Starbucks, H&M, Pusateri’s, Calvin Klein, Foot Locker, Town Shoes and more. Check out the full list here.
Pre-registration for the fair is required, and all attendees are advised to bring 15+ copies of resumes and to dress for success.

The Vancouver Courier reports that Parq Vancouver will be hiring people in each of the hotels divisions including the casino, The JW Marriott Hotel, and eight restaurant and lounge concepts. There are openings at all levels from executives to entry-level, with 1,000 positions to be filled.
The hotel is set to open next fall next to BC Place.

The role call is for seasonal, full-time production assistants that will help create the very products you see in stores. New employees are being offered a starting wage of $12.50/hour and returning employees are being offered $13.50/hour. If you’re able to work afternoon or evening shifts, you’ll get an extra $1-2 an hour. And of course, there are store perks – all staff get 50% off!
Lush Cosmetics is holding hiring fairs over four days this month: Wednesday, July 19th and July 26th (register by 9am), and Thursday, July 20th and July 27th (register by 2pm). If you can’t make the Retail Council of Canada’s big retail job fair at the Toronto Reference Library this month, you’ll be happy to hear that the Toronto Premium Outlets is holding a job fair of their own.
The summer job fair will take place on Tuesday, April 25th inside the mall’s food pavilion, where they’ll be hosting on-the-spot interviews for full time, part time, and seasonal positions. Over 50 retailers are participating with hundreds of opportunities for management, sales and stock associates, cashiers, guest services and key holders. Stores that will be interviewing include AllSaints, Michael Kors, Rudsak, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory, and Restoration Hardware, to name a few.
All you need to is show up on April 25th between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm with your resume and references.
