Calling all doughnut fans! Scarborough is getting a new delicious addition this summer. The American doughnut company Krispy Kreme will be opening up a new GTA location very soon.
Earlier this year, the company teased the opening with a picture on social media that featured the brand’s sign and the words “SUMMER 2020”. And more recently, Krispy Kreme shared a sneak peek of the new location on Twitter and another on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Wednesday #Scarborough we are almost there”.

But if it’s set to open this summer, we’ll likely see it open within the next couple of weeks. Currently, Krispy Kreme has five locations across the GTA and the Scarborough location will be the sixth.
Doughnut enthusiasts can expect the new location to open at 4411 Kingston Road., just east of Lawrence Ave. and Morningside Ave.

From Monday, June 1 to Friday, June 5, you can score a free doughnut every day of the week for #NationalDoughnutWeek. The deal, which is available at participating Canadian locations, includes all of the flavours on the menu.
So, whether you’re a fan of the classic or have an appetite for more decadent flavours like Caramel Kreme Krunch, Cinnamon Apple Filled, or New York Cheesecake, if you want it, you’ve got it.
With so many delicious flavours, we’re thankful there are five full days of free doughnuts to take advantage of. Just note, there is a limit of one doughnut per customer a day and the deal isn’t valid on food delivery. But that doesn’t stop you from eating a sweet treat a day!

Canadians with a Krispy Kreme within close proximity will be happy to hear that the doughnut chain has a very special deal coming up.
And to celebrate, Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen of its signature original glazed doughnuts for just $1. But there is a catch: in order to get the one-day-only promotion, you must buy a dozen doughnuts at regular price first. There’s also a two dozen doughnut maximum. Considering that a dozen doughnuts typically runs around $12, this is a pretty amazing deal.
Your first dozen of doughnuts can be any flavour, so make sure to grab all of your favourite varieties — from classics like the Chocolate Iced Glazed to overindulgent specialties like the New York Cheesecake. And if you’re feeling adventurous, grab Krispy Kreme’s new Original Filled Cake Batter Doughnut, which is only available until Sunday, July 21.

Customers are limited to one donut per person BUT if Krispy Kreme gives away 1 million doughnuts on June 7, it will give away its next new donut later this month for free!
Krispy Kreme is celebrating their 81st birthday on Friday, July 27th, and to celebrate the occasion Canadian visitors to Krispy Kreme can score a dozen of the chain’s glazed doughts for just $1.
There is one unfortunate catch though if you read the fine print of the promotion you have to buy a dozen doughnuts first. So realistically this promotion is amazing for anyone that was already going to go to Krispy Kreme and then realize that they can get an extra dozen doughnuts for a buck.
However, if you are feeling like treating yourself or want to make a nice impression at work on a Friday check out Krispy Kreme’s birthday celebration.

In honour of National Doughnut Day, Krispy Kreme Canada will be giving away free doughnuts next month at participating locations. SHOUTOUT to all doughnut lovers — don’t miss out on this!
The famous brand is celebrating properly on June 1st, 2018, to commemorate our love for doughnuts. Canadians will be treated to any doughnut of their choice from the entire menu, including the all-new Blueberry Glazed doughnut.
“Providing our guests a free doughnut of their choice on National Doughnut Day has become quite a tradition here at Krispy Kreme,” said Jackie Woodward, the chief marketing officer of Krispy Kreme Canada.
The free offer will be available at both locations in Toronto and Mississauga.
You can find out all the participating locations here.
