Get ready for total nostalgia to take over from the new Disney and OVO partnership. Though it may seem like a random mash-up, between the great quality of OVO and adorable Disney cartoons, it may be one of our fave collabs yet.
We’re quite confident that these will become sought-after collector’s items!
OVO actually shared pictures on its Instagram account this week as a teaser for the launch.
Pricing hasn’t been released for the collab, but past partnerships with OVO definitely haven’t been super cheap. The Jurassic Park Toronto Raptors Capsule collection had apparel starting at $300.

A video tease was posted on October’s Very Own Instagram account that showed a sneak peek of some of the cool clothing drops.
There will also be a varsity jacket, crewneck, t-shirt, baseball cap, gym shorts, and more.
Pricing has yet to be released, but you can probably expect similar costs to OVO’s existing product line.

Could it be true? Drake’s beloved OVO flagship in downtown Toronto is showing major signs that the location is permanently closed.
If you take a walk by the storefront, you’ll see nothing but bare walls, cement flooring, no clothing, and no brass owl in sight—seriously, it’s completely empty.

Although the closure has yet to be confirmed by the company or employees, the 899 Dundas Street West store is no longer listed on the OVO website as a location.
From all of the evidence, it definitely looks like the OVO flagship is no longer. However, until there’s an official statement, we won’t know for sure if it’s totally closed.
There also isn’t any fear that the company is in financial trouble. Drake’s OVO line continuously performs outstandingly well, with drops selling out very quickly.

Get excited OVO fans! In case you haven’t heard, another OVO retail shop has officially opened its doors. The newest location is in the CF Rideau Centre in Ottawa, and it opened Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020.
It also marks the sixth location in Canada and the 12th in the world.
The Rideau Centre store is super sleek with blackened steel finishes and the classic brass owl mounted on the wall. Enhancing the vibe, the designers have used beautiful Nero Maquina marble imported from Italy and Herman Miller furniture to decorate the space.

Drake’s brand, October’s Very Own, otherwise known as OVO, is growing. Following a successful Square One Shopping Centre opening, OVO is now slated to open in another mall according to one eagle-eyed fan.
Currently, OVO has a handful of stores open across the globe, with two locations in Toronto (Yorkdale Shopping Centre and Dundas St. West), one in Mississauga, one in Vancouver, one in London, one in New York, and one in Los Angeles. The CF Toronto Eaton Centre location will be the brand’s eighth store.

Construction hoarding that reads “YONGE STREET DREAMS” is up around a retail space on the third floor of the shopping centre. Sandwiched in between Ann Taylor and Browns Shoes, the new OVO store is taking over an old Lululemon space.
We guess this means that a mega-Apple store might not be in the works after all — at least not in OVO’s new space.
According to BlogTO, the OVO store is rumoured to be opening the weekend of OVO Fest, which is August 4 and 5. And if the opening is anything like the last store opening, expect overnight crowds and lineups!

If you know us, you know we love a good sale — especially a good warehouse sale. And just recently, an amazing one was announced.
October’s Very Own, or OVO, will be hosting warehouse sales in three cities across the globe for one weekend only, and Drake’s hometown is one of the cities on the list!
While there are not many details floating across the web, the official OVO Warehouse Sale information was shared on a flyer through the Instagram account @ovoupdate yesterday.
The sale is being hosting in the Toronto neighbourhood of Parkdale at a location where past OVO sample sales have been hosted.

Everything at the OVO Warehouse Sale will be up to 60% off. While it’s unlikely that the sale will feature new collections, if there was a collection that you had your eye on in the past, there’s a chance you could find it at the sale.
According to OVO Update, last year’s sale featured shoes, Canada Goose jackets, and more. So, shoppers who do decide to drop by could be in for a great surprise. Last year’s sale was also replenished each day, so if you can’t make it on the first day, there’s still a good chance you’ll find something you love on the last two days.
While a price list for this year’s sale hasn’t been revealed, OVO Update has shared the price list from last year, which can be seen below. Prices ranged from $5 for a pin to $485 for a Canada Goose shell. While we can’t confirm the exact prices or deals for this year, it’s likely they will be fairly similar.

YouTube/OVO Update
The OVO insider claims that shoppers can expect to see OVO’s Collegiate collection, the Crest collection, some Know Yourself pieces, and many tracksuits. OVO Update will be posting footage from the event throughout the weekend, so be sure to follow the account for live updates.
Before you head out, keep in mind that people go nuts over OVO and there were lineups last year. Be sure to check out our pro tips on how to shop a warehouse sale and to dress warm!

This past weekend, the foot traffic at Square One Shopping Centre was crazy — not only for Black Friday, but because OVO opened its third GTA-based location at the mall.
The store, which is located across from Microsoft and in between B2 Shoes and Lululemon, is the sixth location from Drake’s October’s Very Own label. Other locales include New York, Los Angeles, London, and two in Toronto at Yorkdale Shopping Centre and on Dundas St. West.
An insider tells us that there were around 50 shoppers who slept outside the mall in the cold overnight, waiting to be the first in line for the store opening on Saturday, November 24. To put that dedication into perspective for you, on Friday, November 23, the temperature low was -6°C.

Instagram/@joekville
In the photo above, Instagram user @joekville stated, “Almost 5 p.m. and there’s still a lineup. I can’t believe it, the lineup has been steady since 7 a.m.” The same Instagram user also noted that the morning the store was to open, staff were still hard at work prepping to get the space ready for the huge crowd, painting and caulking while people waited in line.
Another Instagram user said, “This line up at Square One for the opening of the OVO store is SERIOUSSSS. Prolly like at least a KM long.”

While the Yorkdale Shopping Centre location is ultra luxurious with a white marble exterior, a mirrored interior, and gold accents, the OVO Mississauga location is a little bit more low-key.
Inside, the walls are stark white, with built in racks and shelves. The brand’s clothing and footwear collections add pops of colour to the space, and visitors are greeted by Bearbrick statues emblazoned with OVO’s owl logo.

Instagram/@wordonrd
And despite long lineups, shoppers were eager and happy to shop the new OVO Mississauga location. Many walked out with pieces from the OVO Kids collection, which is exclusive to the Square One store.
Take a peek at some of the store opening madness below.
