Mark your calendars, the Lunar New Year is coming, and this year, it’s the Year of the Dragon! To celebrate the occasion, The Welcome Market and Auntie’s Supply are partnering to host a pop-up in Toronto with over 35 vendors! 

The Lunar New Year is the first new moon of the lunar calendar; this year, it will fall on February 10th.

The Welcome Market is a Woman, POC-owned and operated organization that hosts various pop-ups for small businesses in the city.  Auntie’s Supply is an Asian-owned superette in Toronto featuring an array of snacks and ingredients catered to Asian millennials. 

The market will feature 35+ vendors, including local Asian and Pacific Islander small businesses, exclusive Lunar New Year goodies, and a drag show during the Friday night market.

Head over to 938 Queen Street West from February 2nd to the 4th to shop all kinds of homemade crafts and curated vintage at the 2-floor pop-up! There will also be food and drinks available to enjoy. 

The Lunar New Year market is free to attend!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for those who love all things spooky! And if that happens to be you, we have just the market for you to visit this month. 

For two full weekends (October 21st and 22nd as well as October 28th and 29th), The Welcome Market will be hosting a spooky Halloween market featuring over 35 vendors!

The vendors will be selling everything from vintage clothing to houseware goods, and everything in between.

If you’re wondering, “What’s so spooky about that?” well, just like last year, the market is expected to have an assortment of Halloween-themed items available to shop. Such as handmade candles, thrifty Halloween costumes, and other handmade goods with a spooky flare. 

That’s not all, though! The organizers have also advertised that there will be some “scary-good” Halloween cocktails to sip on! Who doesn’t love a little sip and shop?
