Attention all Vancouverites! Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee is officially coming to Vancouver as part of the chain’s mission to open 100 Canadian locations within five years.

According to Daily Hive, Jollibee Vancouver will be located at 833 Granville Street near the intersection of Granville and Robson Street in the heart of downtown.

This news comes on top of the announcement that Jollibee is expanding in Ontario with a new location coming soon to Brampton.

For Torontonians looking for flights to Vancouver and other popular Canadian locations, airfare is about to get a lot cheaper. Discount airline Flair Airlines (who purchased New Leaf Airlines) will begin offering cheap cross-country flights.

Flair Airline’s flights will start making trips on December 15, 2017, and we’ve seen flights to Vancouver starting at $249! That’s a crazy deal as flights to Vancouver typically cost anywhere from around $500 – $850.

Flair Airlines will operate flights out of Vancouver International Airport, Kelowna International Airport, Abbotsford, Edmonton International Airport, Halifax, Hamilton, Winnipeg and Pearson International in Toronto, which will make accessing these Canadian cities much easier in the near future.

Cross-country flights will occur several times a week, and can now be booked for the holiday season.

The Vancouver Courier reports that Parq Vancouver will be hiring people in each of the hotels divisions including the casino, The JW Marriott Hotel, and eight restaurant and lounge concepts. There are openings at all levels from executives to entry-level, with 1,000 positions to be filled.

The hotel is set to open next fall next to BC Place.

Chocolate lovers, rejoice!

A new Lindt Chocolate shop will be opening in downtown Vancouver at The Exchange tower at West Pender and Howe streets. The store will sit on the northwest corner, spanning 1800-square-feet on the ground floor of the building. The shop will be the Swiss chocolatier’s fifth store in Metro Vancouver.

Shoppers can expect the store to open late October and the selection to include Lindt’s premium chocolate products and a wide variety of the chocolatier’s famous Lindor balls.
