Attention all Vancouverites! Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee is officially coming to Vancouver as part of the chain’s mission to open 100 Canadian locations within five years.
According to Daily Hive, Jollibee Vancouver will be located at 833 Granville Street near the intersection of Granville and Robson Street in the heart of downtown.
This news comes on top of the announcement that Jollibee is expanding in Ontario with a new location coming soon to Brampton.
It’s no secret that we Canadians love our fried chicken but that’s not all you can expect to dig into when you visit Jollibee. The chain also serves up Jolly Spaghetti, Fiesta Palabok, and of course the delicious Peach Mango Pies.
There’s been no official opening date announced as of yet. You can however expect lineups once it does open because the chain is super popular among canadians.
There are currently 10 Jollibee locations in Canada with restaurants in Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.

Flair Air (which was formerly New Leaf Airlines) has just released flights from Toronto to Vancouver for $246 CAD roundtrip – Including taxes. The deals aren’t just for Vancouver as Flair Air is also promoting flights to Edmonton for $210 CAD roundtrip.
According to YYZ deals, Flair Air has also recently dropped their extra charge for carry-on luggage so the price is the price, and $246 to fly across the country is an amazing deal!

For Torontonians looking for flights to Vancouver and other popular Canadian locations, airfare is about to get a lot cheaper. Discount airline Flair Airlines (who purchased New Leaf Airlines) will begin offering cheap cross-country flights.
Flair Airline’s flights will start making trips on December 15, 2017, and we’ve seen flights to Vancouver starting at $249! That’s a crazy deal as flights to Vancouver typically cost anywhere from around $500 – $850.
Flair Airlines will operate flights out of Vancouver International Airport, Kelowna International Airport, Abbotsford, Edmonton International Airport, Halifax, Hamilton, Winnipeg and Pearson International in Toronto, which will make accessing these Canadian cities much easier in the near future.
Cross-country flights will occur several times a week, and can now be booked for the holiday season.
If you love luxurious candies you may already be familiar with popular L.A. based candy brand Sugarfina. If you are a fan, you’ll be pleasantly pleased to hear that you no longer have to rely on delivery or shopping at other candy stores as Sugarfina has just announced its first standalone Canadian location.
Our friends at Retail-Insider are reporting that Sugarfina will be opening their first stand-alone Canadian location at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, British Columbia.
The 1000+ square foot retail space will be located on Metrotown’s ground floor across from the new Burnaby Uniqlo.

The Vancouver Courier reports that Parq Vancouver will be hiring people in each of the hotels divisions including the casino, The JW Marriott Hotel, and eight restaurant and lounge concepts. There are openings at all levels from executives to entry-level, with 1,000 positions to be filled.
The hotel is set to open next fall next to BC Place.
Job fairs will be held at BC Place, Gate H on the following dates and times:

Chocolate lovers, rejoice!
A new Lindt Chocolate shop will be opening in downtown Vancouver at The Exchange tower at West Pender and Howe streets. The store will sit on the northwest corner, spanning 1800-square-feet on the ground floor of the building. The shop will be the Swiss chocolatier’s fifth store in Metro Vancouver.
Shoppers can expect the store to open late October and the selection to include Lindt’s premium chocolate products and a wide variety of the chocolatier’s famous Lindor balls.
