It’s a sad day for those who are a fan of the local shop, Pink Tartan. The Toronto fashion brand is emptying its 3,500 square-foot store and closing its doors at the Yorkville flagship.
The company moved into the Yorkville location in 2010, and took over the space from the Paisley Shop. The adorable storefront features a pink door, that’s become quite the photo op.
Not only did the store sell its own Pink Tartan fashion pieces, but it also offered vintage luxury designer products as well, with Chanel being a favourite. You may have also seen the brand of ready-to-wear womenswear in stores like Hudson’s Bay.
Unfortunately, the Yorkville space is following in the footsteps of the Pink Tartan Bayview Village location that closed several months ago.
Check out the site and shop the pieces at pinktartan.ca.
