Two Major Yorkville Stores Have Officially Closed Down

If you’ve ever strolled through beautiful Yorkville, you’ve probably browsed the racks at stores like Anthropologie and Diesel. That is, until now.

Anthropologie and Diesel have just shut down their flagship locations in Yorkville.

Anthropologie Yorkville, located at 78 Yorkville Avenue closed on July 19 and Diesel closed its store at 92 Yorkville Avenue a week prior.

Retail-Insider reports that both buildings are owned by First Capital Realty and opened the stores opened their doors in 2009.

With all the store closings going on, it’s important to note that notable brands have opened stores in Yorkville.

Brands like Chanel, Brunello Cucinelli, Versace, Christian Louboutin, and Off-White are now home to this prestigious shopping strip.

New tenants for the Anthropologie and Diesel locations have yet been released, but Retail-Insider reports that Chanel will use about 1,000 square feet of the former Diesel space.
