Christmas Travel:
For Christmas travels within Canada, the best time to book is November 13th. If you booked by this date last year, the average cost of plane fare was about $333. For international travel, make sure to book by November 1st. Last year’s fares were about $691 when booked by that date in 2017.
New Year’s Eve Travel:
If you’re planning on domestic travel for New Year’s Eve, book your flight by December 8th. The median fare was $244 last year by that date. If you want to bring in the New Year outside of Canada, get the best deal by booking by December 14th, with median airfares of $519 in 2017.
