Vancouver has been the birthplace of many of Canada’s top sneaker and streetwear boutiques. The newest addition to the party is GRAIL, an interactive retail environment celebrating sneaker culture, art and community.
GRAIL is a 3,100 square foot sneaker concept boutique that is located on Granville Street in Vancouver. As its name implies, GRAIL will offer sneakerheads a vast, anything but basic, offerings from established brands such as Nike and adidas.
The boutique seeks to elevate the retail experience with its state of the art ultra hi-res LED ceiling and surround sound, allowing the guests to have a theatre-like experience in a retail setting. There is even a digital countdown clock at the storefront for the next release and there is also the latest in laser projection technology for its window displays.
The space is the perfect combination of minimalist and textured design elements with slick technology. Slatted cement board walls, perforated steel panels, exposed conduits and caged LED tube lights mix with liquid crystal wall projections that switch from clear to opaque.
GRAIL will carry a wide selection from the top footwear brands including Nike, adidas, Vans, Puma and New Balance, as well as a selection of niche global brands such as Karhu, Colmar and Leather Crown. Some of the selection from these niche global brands can only be found in North America at GRAIL.
