Toronto Safety Alert: Man Finds Razor Blades in Chocolate Bar at Dollarama

The Toronto Police Services is making an announcement to the public about a recent purchase made at Dollarama. Due to the fact that we often post about Dollarama and tell our readers why they should shop there, we thought it was pertinent to let people know the police advisory.

On Saturday, October 20, 2018, a 41-year-old man purchased a package of mini Twix Chocolate bars at the Dollarama located at 30 Weston Road.

While the report hasn’t been proven as of yet the incident reads as follows: A razor blade was discovered inside the packaging of the chocolate bar and was part of a package that contained other chocolate bars. The man that opened the chocolate bar did so at his residence and thankfully there were no injuries.

Check out the pictures below and please remember as the Halloween season approaches, it’s important to check your candy as there are obviously malicious people out there looking to harm people that just want to eat some delicious candy
