Tucked away in Yorkville is Canada’s first SEE Eyewear, a premium boutique featuring high quality, exclusive designs, with 40 stores across America.
Located at 153 Cumberland St., the sleek new store offers limited numbers of each frame, with sometimes only two per colour for each city or store. “It really is the closest thing to custom eyewear made just for you,” founder Richard Golden says. “It is ideal for people who want a unique look that no one else will have.”
Working with select artisans from over 17 different countries, SEE’s in-house team is able to craft fashion-forward, original styles at accessible prices. Styles range between $199 and $599 for eyeglasses and include single vision plastic or polycarbonate lenses. And to celebrate the Canadian launch, SEE will donate a portion of sales to Toronto Public Library Foundation from November 8 to 30.
While Toronto is the first Canadian home for SEE, Golden hopes to expand even further with plans to add more locations throughout the city, as well as other Canadian towns.
