Doughnut-Inspired Cones
Dreamt up by Eva from Eva’s Original Chimney Cones, these doughnut-inspired ice cream cones are a twist on a classic Hungarian dessert. The Chimney and ice cream cone come together to create something truly delicious and come in flavours like Eva’s Apple Pie, soft serve and homemade apple preserves; Berrylicious, soft serve with berry compote and Nutella; and Dream Cone, soft serve with Nutella, butter toffee bits, organic cocoa drizzle and homemade salted caramel brownie.Â

Equally as delicious as doughnut cones are their Mexican counterpart, churro cones! Available at all Pancho’s Bakery locations, the place in Toronto for mouth-watering churro treats, these cones are rolled in cinnamon and sugar, stuffed with soft serve and topped with sauces, cereal and more.

Decked Out Éclairs
While macarons have really been having a moment, there’s another Parisian dessert taking the spotlight. Nugateau Patisseries, The Tempered Room and more have been creating fancy, colourful Éclairs that are anything, but average – we would even call it art!

Fancy Popsicles
Move over ice cream – there’s another cold treat in town. Gourmet pops have been popping up all over Kensington Market with flavours like Chocolate Hibiscus and Coconut Yogurt Parfait! A couple of notable places include Wrestlers Coffee and Seven Lives.

Doughnut Shots
Doughnuts are amazing all on their own but they’re even better with a sugary shot of something sweet – think caramel and chocolate. Exclusive to The Rolling Pin, shots are artfully stuck into each doughnut. Be careful… We have an inkling it may be hard to have just one.

Desserts that get you Drunk
Who doesn’t love a good summer cocktail? The Pop Stand just made them even more irresistible with cocktail popsicles. These frozen treats get dunked in your favourite alcoholic bevvy or have a cocktail infused popsicle like Cherry Whiskey Sour or Peach Bourbon Ice Tea all on its own.
