Our friends at Retail-Insider are reporting that Aldo Group Inc., who now boasts over 3,000 retail sales points in over 100 countries around the world, has just acquired Vince Camuto.
The brand Vince Camuto rose to popularity developing and distributing women’s fashion footwear and clothing, but also houses multiple other brands under its umbrella. Currently the brands include Louise et Cie, Imagine Vince Camuto, Sole Society, 1.State and Mercedes Castillo. Furthermore, Camuto Group also holds the footwear license for Jessica Simpson and the footwear and handbag licenses for ED Ellen DeGeneres and Lucky Brand
While the Vince Camuto family will still continue to run the apparel business, Vince Camuto Footwear and affiliate brands will now be worked into Aldo’s distribution channels.
