A Huge Wellness Club Is Opening In Toronto This Year

Things are looking brighter for Toronto this year with the announcement of a brand new mega wellness club called Altea Active. The club will open sometime this fall in Liberty Village and will take over two floors of the Novus development at 25 Ordnance Street. Impressively, this is an 89,000 square foot space. 

Altea Active is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. It offers everything from Starbucks, to hot yoga, to golf simulators.

To sum it up, this is an all-in-one destination for your fitness needs, and your social ones too!

The co-founder and COO of Altea Active,Michael Nolan, said in a release, “Toronto is a dynamic, energetic city filled with people who enjoy living an activated lifestyle, and Altea Active will offer a one-of-a-kind urban playground for Torontonians looking for a vibrant social space that supports living a healthy lifestyle.”

In addition, the club will have a massive lap pool, hot yoga studio, restaurant, cocktail lounge, 75 bike cycling studio, smoothie bar, sauna, Himalayan salt lounge, and more. 

If you’re searching for some fun, the hotspot will also have an urban lounge! This will include pool and foosball tables, live entertainment, Topgolf Swing Suite, and Duckpin bowling lanes. That’s right, a full-out bowling alley.
