Daily Hive reports that construction on the new Jollibee location will end today, December 17, so it’s looking like it could be open for business any day now.
This new location is all part of the chain’s expansion to open 100 Canadian locations in the next 5 years. In the fall, it was announced that it would be blessing us with three GTA locations and this Promenade one is the second.
The first GTA Jollibee location opened in September in North York at 79 Billy Bishop Way, near Dufferin and Wilson.
The third GTA location will be the one that’s coming to the downtown core and that’s reportedly coming in 2020. The store will be located near Ryerson at Yonge and Gould, and while we’re on the edge of our seats for more info, the building it’s set to be in hasn’t even been constructed yet.
Jollibee is known for it’s signature menu items like Jolly Crispy Chicken, Jolly Spaghetti, Palabok Fiesta, tasty Yumburgers, and of course, it’s satisfying deep-fried Peach-Mango hand-pies.
