Another beloved beauty brand is closing all retail locations in Canada, due to the pandemic.

Innisfree is the label that has recently fallen victim to ongoing COVID-19 challenges. The beauty brand is a hugely popular Korean cosmetics and skincare company that offers innovative clay masks, Green Tea Seed Cream, cleansing oils, and so much more.

The first Toronto shop opened back in 2019 and Innisfree even opened three locations just last year at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Eaton Centre, and Scarborough Town Centre.

Operation closures were announced on Innisfree Canada’s Instagram Stories which stated, “When we opened the first Innisfree store in Canada two years ago, our goal was to bring the best and latest K-beauty products to our customers and make them accessible to all. While our commitment to quality and serving our community remains the same, circumstances have changed over the past year and we anticipate that the health and safety risks of COVID-19 will be impacting our ability to deliver the right experience for the remainder of 2021 and beyond…”

The post specifically mentioned the Yorkdale and Scarborough locations will close May 8th.

Meanwhile the Eaton Centre and the Markville Mall storefronts have already shuttered.

If you’re a major fan of the beauty brand, or just interested in giving it a try, a handful of Innisfree products will still be available to shop for individuals who live in Canada at Sephora.
