Summer is officially here and it’s sure to be a scorcher. While the heat may scare some to stay indoors, us Canadians know that warmth is only around four months of the year, so it’s best to bask in it. And of course, one of the best places to bask in the sun and soak up all of its glory is on a rooftop patio. Luckily, Toronto has plenty including a spot that serves drinks by the bucket!

The Porch is a seasonal rooftop restaurant and bar that’s open from April to October in the heart of downtown Toronto. The sprawling space is filled with high-top tables, plush couches, twinkling lights and heat lamps for cooler nights.

The centrally-located rooftop is perfect for mingling and lingering over libations like the Bulldog, Porch Coladas, Margaritas, Blue Jay Lemonade and more which all come served in handy little buckets.

And when you’re feeling peckish, you can chow down on The Porch’s foodie fare to satisfy your stomach including weekend brunch and bar food favourites like Buffalo wings, nachos, maple chipotle chicken poutine and more.
