The perfect addition to any great movie is a hot, salty, buttery popcorn and this Friday you can get some delicious popcorn for free. In celebration of national popcorn day, Cineplex theatres is giving away a free bag of popcorn to theatregoers on January 19, 2018.
Sounds too good to be true? Well, it is a little. While Cineplex is giving away a free bag of popcorn to people who see a movie on Friday, you have to have a scene points card. What’s awesome is that 1 in 5 Canadians have a Scene Card so if you don’t have one, maybe the buddy you bring to the theatre will have one.
While the theatres from coast to coast will be dolling out popcorn on Friday, Cineplex will also be handing out popcorn on the street in Toronto through a popcorn inspired food truck. The offer is valid at all 163 Cineplex theatre locations nationwide and will be available during every movie showing on that day. Unfortunately, it’s only one bag per Scene card.
