Don't Miss This Massive Sandwich Festival Happening This Month

Who doesn’t love sandwiches? Whether it’s a PB&J or a good old BLT, you really can’t go wrong. They’re really one of the most versatile foods we have! Well, guess what? The Toronto Sandwich Festival is happening THIS month, and it’s all about celebrating our love for sandwiches! Even if you’re not much of a savory person don’t stress. There will be lots for those with a sweet tooth, as well.

The festival is taking place Sunday, April 22nd, at the Artscape Wychwood Barns (near St Clair West). There will be multiple vendors on location serving all kinds of sandwiches, as well as sandwich-themed activities, designs, and even eating competitions! You’re not going to want to miss out on seeing that.

Some vendors include Kitson & Co (with their Classic Italian Muffaletta), Tuck Shop Kitchen (with their in-house specialty BLT), and Stuff’d (with their Grilled Cheese & Tots).

Expect some extra fun with sponsors like Metro, the AGO, Toronto Cider Festival, Toronto Florist Shop, Left Field Brewery and lots more. Now for the sweet; vendors will be serving Hot Shot Chocolate, Palett America Gelato, and Sweetlegs.

There are two different time slots to choose from, 11am-2pm or 3pm-6pm. Tickets to the event will cost $25 dollars and include your ‘sandwich passport,’ which enables you to sample and even win special prizes.

If you can’t make the festival, we’ve already made a listicle of the best sandwiches you can get in the city, so make sure you check that out.
